The Bandon Little Farmers Market is celebrating its 10th year. The market will open for the summer season on Saturday, July 11.

Bandon High School junior Jennifer Miles has always wanted to travel the world. This September, her first journey will begin when she leaves her hometown to become an exchange student in Italy until June 2010.

Bandon High School Principal Gaye Knapp has released the names of its honor roll students for the second semester of the school year 2008-09.
Art classes at the Wilderland School
The Wilderland School in Langlois, a Montessori-based private school, will offer July Arts and Exploration activities for children ages 5 to 13. The two-weeks of activities will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, from July 6 to 17. Cost is $250 for the 10 days, but drop-ins also are welcome at $6 per hour.
Free lunches for children at School District cafeteria
The Bandon School District is offering free lunches to all children through Tuesday, Aug. 7.
