June 16

1:11 a.m., arrested William Loshbaugh, 26, of Bandon on a charge of domestic harassment. Loshbaugh was transported to the Coos County jail.

10:31 a.m., report of a rock through a window at a home in the 700 block of Third Street. Not known if it was intentional or if it was thrown by a vehicle tire. Incident occurred sometime within the past three weeks.

11:04 a.m., a small brown and white Chihuahua was reported lost in the 1200 block of Indiana Avenue Southeast. Older dog, no collar or tags.

2:02 p.m., caller reported two Alzheimer’s patients had walked away from a residence in the the 100 block of 10th Street. One was wearing a plaid flannel shirt and jeans, the other a blue sweatshirt. Civil deputy advised they had been located.

11:45 a.m., report of theft of a DVD player from a vacation residence in the 3000 block of Beach Loop Drive. 9:33 p.m., observed an assault on a man in front of Junction Laundromat on Third Street and North Avenue.

10:22 p.m., report of phone harassment by woman’s ex-husband. Contacted ex-husband and advised him it was too late in the night to call.

June 17

10:18 a.m., report of a runaway juvenile in the 1000 block of Second Street. Juvenile was found at Harvard Street Apartments and returned home.

11:07 p.m., police spoke with an intoxicated person on June and First who had driven to the location. Subject was warned not to drive.

11:12 p.m., suspicious conditions reported in the 1500 block of Harvard Street. Subjects were in a vehicle outside of a home. Checked the area, unable to locate. June 18

7:04 a.m., officer at a residence at 11th and Grand regarding a hospice death.

3:40 p.m., suspicious man at Oregon First Community Credit Union at 75 12th St. S.E. Subject left upon officer’s arrival.

4:42 p.m., report of criminal trespass in the 100 block of 10th Street. Female was wearing gray pants and a red fleece shirt. Subject left, avoiding officer.

7:27 p.m., father reports his son just left their home with a knife. Arrested 15-year-old juvenile on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, criminal mischief and harassment. The juvenile was transferred to Bay Area Hospital and placed on an involuntary hold.

7:29 p.m., people at Bandon Fitness Center, 1090 Second St. N.E. heard shots fired and people yelling. Shots are believed to be coming from shooting range.

8:11 p.m., brother called to report a man at his sister’s home. Subject is believed to be intoxicated and creating a disturbance. Dispute is over child custody.

10:20 p.m., male subject walked into a residence in the 1100 block of Second Street. Unable to locate subject, will attempt to locate tomorrow.

June 19

12:27 a.m., subject in Arcade Tavern, 135 Alabama Ave. claiming to have a weapon. Subject is intoxicated and angry. No crime occurred.

1:32 a.m., Arcade Tavern, 135 Alabama Ave., employee requested officer give a customer a ride home, taxi refuses to take subject. Advised the tavern that officers are not a taxi service for her.

2:45 a.m., male employee of Station Restaurant on U.S. Highway 101 and Fillmore Avenue reports a person placing cones in the roadway north of the restaurant. Removed barriers.

12:57 p.m., woman caller on a cell phone reports a vehicle hit the guardrail at U.S. Highway 101 just south of Seabird Drive. Second report advises accident has no injuries, female driver is just shaken up. Officers stood by on scene until Oregon State Police arrived.

3:10 p.m., male subject’s estranged wife slammed his head and hand in the car door while he was attempting to prevent her from stealing his car. Officers just had contact with the female, she also is wanting to report an assault. Advised both parties to stay away from each other and contact the courts. The dispute is over child custody.

June 20

9:19 a.m., request for help picking the door lock at a residence in the 55900 block of Prosper Junction to help the woman who lives there who has fallen. Subject is on the phone and citizen can’t get through to find where she hid the key. Assistance rendered.

10:55 a.m., Currydale Farms, 49877 Highway 101, reports two checks were written on closed accounts. Will attempt to locate to serve letter to subjects.

1:42 p.m., man is refusing to leave home in the 1100 block of Jackson Avenue. He has been living there for 13 months. Subject decided to comply and move out.

5:25 p.m., report of dogs running loose in the Ninth Street area. Owner contacted.

6:00 p.m., report of an intoxicated woman soliciting others to purchase alcohol in the 1100 block of Alabama. Woman is wearing a nurse’s uniform and is in a white van. Advised subject not to drive.

6:15 p.m., employee at Dairy Queen reports a cat stuck up a power pole on Ninth Street. Contacted City of Bandon Electric Department and assistance was rendered.

.June 22

7:59 p.m., male on a bike is pretending to shoot people with his hand on Franklin Avenue and 10th Street. Subject was contacted and warned.

June 23

12:19 a.m., neighbors are playing loud music in the 100 block of 17th Street.

10:47 a.m., report of three panhandlers at Ray’s Food Place, 66 Michigan Ave.

11:00 a.m., report of a vehicle parked in right-hand, northbound lane on the highway near the old cheese factory. Officer advised this is not a hazard or violation, vehicle is legally parked.

11:26 a.m., report of a theft at a motel.

9:30 a.m., citizen at the police department to report an ongoing noise disturbance against the city noise ordinance. Citizen signed municipal citation. Will be handled by municipal court.

12:15 p.m., report of hit and run damage to a vehicle while it was parked in Old Town in the 200 block of Chicago Avenue. No witnesses.

5:25 p.m., employee at Dairy Queen, 20 Ninth St. S.W., reports a male customer creating a disturbance. Subjects left prior to arrival.

6:37 p.m., ex-girlfriend is not returning the subject’s property. Will be a civil matter.

10:20 p.m., report of subject’s ex-boyfriend wanting to fight with current boyfriend in the 600 block of Bluff Avenue. Arrested Fred J. Reigard, 36, of Bandon on charges of parole violation. Reigard was transferred to Coos County jail.
