May 22
8:58 a.m., criminal mischief reported at Reese Electric, 275 Fillmore Ave. S.E.; window shot out. Report taken.
9:30 a.m. man reported that three unknown boys were sitting in front of church on 11th Street Southwest last Tuesday. They asked his son where they could buy drugs. Logged for information.
9:34 a.m., man said he was assaulted last night at apartment complex in the 500 block of Ninth Street Southwest. Suspect trespassed off the property.
9:35 a.m. woman reported two dogs at large last night in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue. Ongoing problem. Afraid they will kill cats. Information relayed to animal control.
10:50 a.m., phone harassment reported in the Bandon area. Suspect warned not to make any type of contact with complainant or criminal charges would be filed.
8 a.m., woman reported that someone keyed her vehicle while it was parked at Bandon High School, 455 Ninth St. S.W.
3:15 p.m., suspicious person reported in the 1000 block of Jackson Avenue Southwest.
10:15 p.m. man reported he heard gun shots in the 1100 block of Ohio Avenue Northeast. After an investigation, police arrested Jessica Moore, 26, of Coquille on a Jackson County warrant charging failure to appear on charges of identity theft, giving false information to an officer. Moore was transported to the Coos County jail.
May 23
12:11 p.m., report of bullet holes in David L. Davis Real Estate building, 1110 Alabama Street. Report taken.
2:24 p.m., assisted disabled transport van and subject who fell over in a wheelchair on U.S. Highway 101.
6:28 p.m., report that juveniles were feeding gulls and then shooting them with a slingshot on Coquille Point.
6:39 p.m., 46-year-old male caregiver and brother of subject in the 55000 block of Ruby Lane is having trouble dealing with his current situation in life.
10:42 p.m., as a result of a traffic stop, arrested James R. Martindale, 48, on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Police took Martindale to Coos County jail and later released him on his own recognizance.
May 24
1:21 p.m., report of a dog locked in a blue Crown Victoria on First Street Northeast. Windows are rolled down; dog looks fine.
3:20 p.m., report of criminal trespass at Bandon Card and Gift, 265 Second St. Subjects will not leave the bench and quit smoking in front of her business.
5:49 p.m., report of a man and woman fighting over a child on Michigan Avenue Southeast. Was a miscommunication between the child’s stepfather and aunt.
7:41 p.m., report of a lost dog named Lucky. The dog is a dark brown great Dane.
May 25
6:26 p.m., a 13-year-old girl came to subject’s home in the 800 block of Alleghany Avenue Southwest. She said she was choked by her mother’s boyfriend. Arrested Darren L. House, 37, of Bandon, at the Gorman Motel, 1110 10th St. S.W., on charge of fourth-degree assault.
May 26
11:22 a.m., subject reports she is missing about 30 pills of hydrocodone in the 1200 block of June Avenue. Subject may have misplaced the medication.
2:37 p.m., report of a theft of a boat motor from yard in the 1200 block of Baltimore Avenue.
3:47 p.m., Sprague Community Theater manager reported a broken window at the theater, 1202 11th St. S.W. Handled by police.
7 p.m., report of two vehicles playing chicken on Highway 101 southbound. A white Toyota pickup was driving next to a white Voyager van and then weaving in and around it.
May 27
9:05 a.m., window on the First Street Southwest side at the Moore Mill office was shot out.
10:45 a.m., Eugene Hill reported window shot out in his office building on Elmira Avenue. Report taken.
6:47 p.m., request to warn subject about driving too fast and sliding around corners on First and Harlem. Subject could have hit her and her dog. When subject yelled at the two males they laughed.
7:44 p.m., house is flooding in the 300 block of Lexington Avenue. Reporting party is deaf; dispatcher used TTY to tell her city of Bandon public works enroute. Assistance rendered.
9:27 p.m., attempt to locate wanted subject. Arrested Robert J. Aguilar, 21, of Bandon, at Gorman Motel, 1110 10th St. S.W., on a warrant from Washington County on charges of failure to register as a sex offender and theft. Aguilar is being held at the Coos County jail on $25,000 bail.
May 29
7:35 a.m., tagged a white Pontiac Grand Am for a tow in the 700 block of Ninth Street Southeast.
11:25 a.m., report of window shot out at Oregon First Community Credit Union, at 75 12th St, S.E.
1:19 p.m., subject reports a gray four-wheel-drive pickup truck speeding on Fourth Street, headed west toward town.
4:04 p.m., report of a black pickup truck doing donuts on June Avenue. Vehicle also is driving fast in the area.
4:14 p.m., request for a welfare check on subject’s children in the 500 block of North Avenue. No one has answered the phone for 11⁄2 weeks. Children are OK and will contact their mother.
7:17 p.m., report of toxic fumes coming from subject’s neighbor’s woodstove. Not as reported; wood was wet.
May 29
4:44 a.m., as a result of a traffic stop, cited a 45-year-old male for driving with a suspended license. Subject’s vehicle was towed by Mast Bros.
8:30 a.m., police investigated report of a suspicious man behind golf shop at 120 Michigan Avenue; 59-year-old intoxicated man.
1:24 p.m., helped resident in the 600 block of Bluff Road with removing a trespasser.
11:55 p.m., officer responded to a report of a dispute in the 1200 block of Oregon Avenue. Parties involved agreed to try to get along.
May 30
11:09 a.m., found a wallet in the 1000 block of Oregon Avenue. Wallet returned to owner.
12:21 p.m., responded to a report of a dispute between two elderly women in the 300 block of June Avenue.
1:42 p.m., report of a tree down on North Bank Lane one-half mile from Highway 101. Tree removed.
7:31 p.m., report of a wallet lost near Bandon High School.
9:16 p.m., report of a man looking through backyard and shop in the 900 block of Ohio Avenue Southeast. Suspect approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall, wearing gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans. Officer unable to locate.
